Introduction to popular game planned for Boise library

Dungeons and Dragons is a roleplaying game that gives older kids and adults alike a way to flex their creativity while having fun with a group of other players. Boise’s Ada Community Library’s Victory Branch is offering an introduction to this popular activity, reserved for those who are at least 12 years of age.

The participants in the workshop will be walked through the process of creating their own character using dice and other methods, and once theirs is complete, they will then move on to the actual game play. The goal is for the group to have a lot of fun, and while they are enjoying themselves, they will be able to meet new people and maybe even make a friend.

The session will be led by Dungeon Master Eric, and will be appropriate for the age of the participants. It was noted by the organizers that the game offers several benefits, including encouraging the players to socialize, read, and practice their verbal communication skills.

For fun activities like this, Stationery printers can supply Copies of character record sheets, promotional Flyers, and other items, all at a price that can be easy on the pocketbook.

The library will be hosting “Dungeons and Dragons: Roleplaying for Beginners“ on February 6. It is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm sharp.
