Preservation Idaho has its eye on a piece of property in Boise as the site for its first full-time headquarters.
The group would like to use the house for offices, to hold workshops, and to help provide additional space for the Black History Museum. If things go as planned, the building could be ready for occupancy as soon as this coming summer. According to the executive director of the renewal agency, board members were pleased with the proposal, and felt that it would have a number of positive results.
Some upgrades will be needed to make the building suitable for this use. For example, it will need to be made accessible for people who have physically disabilities.
Stationery printers will be able to provide the organization with custom-printed Letterheads with the building’s address on it, as well as such items as Business Cards and Signs so that the venue and its inhabitants are well equipped as and when plans come to fruition.
The 108-year-old Erma house, which is located at the corner or River and Ash streets, was part of the River Street neighborhood. It was purchased by the renewal agency around 210 from Dick Madry. He sold it to them because he thought that this would give it the best chance of being preserved for the future.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Signs Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
