The cold days of winter are on the way for Boise, but a special event will help locals bundle up and stay warm and cozy.
The Granger Quilting Guild will once again be hosting its Holiday Bazaar, and it will offer craft enthusiasts an opportunity to enjoy works produced by area crafters. Everything from quilts to knitted socks, blankets, afghans, baby items, and toys will be available for purchase, and there will also be a wide assortment of items for those who are looking for something that is a bit more outside the box. Nail art, handmade soaps, gift baskets, and one-of-a-kind items will also be available.
When it is time to relax with a bite to eat, shoppers will be able to savor a pulled pork sandwich with all the extras, and creamy macaroni and cheese. Hot apple cider and coffee will help to take the chill off, and those with a sweet tooth can stop by the baked food table. There will be draws for gift baskets and other prizes, and the whole event will be family friendly. This showcase of local talent has been planned for November 3 and 4th at 11602 West President Drive in Boise. There will be no entry fee charged.
