Boise workshop to build better birdhouses

An event has been planned that will help to bring more of the music of the birds to Boise.

This family friendly workshop, which is open to anyone from age eight or older, will give members of the public a chance to craft their very own custom birdhouse. Everything from personalized paint jobs, to reclaimed tin roofs will be available, and the organizers have noted that the final products will be as beautiful as they are functional.

The tickets for the session, which will be held in the JUMP Make Studio of Jack’s Urban Meeting Space in Boise, cover admission for two. They are priced at $25 each, and children must be accompanied by a parent or other adult, and couples and pairs of friends are also welcome. Martin Sarasquestor will be the instructor for this event, and he will provide assistance and advice to the crafters.

JUMP Make Studio’s programs are open to people at all levels of abilities, and those with physical and developmental challenges are encouraged to participate. Anyone who requires accommodations so that they can take part in the workshop is asked to call 208.639.6610 for more details. Newsletter printing can be used to create materials that can be mailed to households in the community to let them know when events like this will be taking place.

The Build a Blinged Out Bird House session will be held on March 10 at 1000 W. Myrtle St. Further details can be found on the JUMP website.
