Those with an interest in sustainability had a chance to enjoy food and entertainment while supporting local businesses, food vendors musicians, and other performers last month.
The third annual Idaho Green Fest took place on Bannock and 8th Street in the city, and brought people together to provide examples of sustainable living and resource conservation that the organizers felt would be easy to follow and adapt to everyday life.
Some of the vendors had their electrical needs met by solar power trailers, stations provided free water instead of single-use bottles, and all of the food served was sourced from local growers and suppliers.
There was no charge to take part in the activities that were offered, and it was open to people of all ages. Flyer printing firms can create promotional materials that fit well into the overall theme of such an event by using papers that contain recycled materials, as well as inks that are naturally sourced and environmentally friendly, and encouraging people to recycle the Flyers once they no longer need them.
According to Seth Brown, who performs the marketing duties for the event, the festival celebrates community spirit and encourages the public to support small locally owned businesses. It also helps to raise awareness of the green economy that is emerging throughout the region. Get a Free Quote for Flyers
