Next week will see a great opportunity for families that are looking to spend time having fun in the last of the summer sun, as Boise hosts its 'See Spot Splash' event. A popular way for dogs to join in for a change, many people are looking forward to the wet fun.
The annual event – one of the city's most eagerly awaited doggy delights of the year – allows dogs to swim for free with their owners. Thousands of dollars have been raised for charity in the past by the events.
Held in conjunction with Boise Parks & Recreation and the Idaho Humane Society, poster printing for the event is likely already taking place.
The traditional end-of-swim-season event is open to everyone, though mutt spaces are limited to 50 dogs an hour in the pool. Hourly sessions are being hosted throughout the day to ensure there is enough space for all
The event is free for everyone and Invitations are extended to anyone wishing to make a donation to the IHS, with collections being made at the pool.
Those attending are also asked to Print off the rules of the pool, as well as a waiver form for dog owners before coming along.
The 2014 See Spot Splash event takes place from 3:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 26th at The Natatorium, 1181 Warm Springs Avenue.Get a Free Quote for Invitations Get a Free Quote for Print
