Boise fundraiser benefits birds

Golden Eagle Audubon is preparing now for its Banquet for the Birds, and it will be pulling out all the stops for one evening in support of Boise’s feathered friends.

This annual fundraiser will be on offer at Atrium at Albertsons, and it will feature special guest Christian Cooper. Tickets to attend are $120 each, and the program for the evening kicks off an hour after the doors open.

Guests will be treated to a pre-meal drinks happy hour, which will be followed by the dinner. The excitement of bidding on items in a live action will be part of the fun, and a silent auction and raffle have been organized as well. There will be Copies of Books penned by Cooper available for purchase by the attendees, and he will be on hand to sign them.

As with many special events, the organizers of Banquet for the Birds are counting on support from the area's corporate community. There are several sponsorship levels, as well as customized packages, and businesses often choose to have custom Corporate Gifts prepared that include their branding to donate to auctions and other draws.

This chance to show some love to Boise’s winged friends along with other bird lovers will take place on Saturday, April 19th. The doors will open for the cocktail mixer at 4:30 pm.
