The Downtown Boise Association provides support and advocacy for the establishments that call the neighborhood home, and that date has been set for the March installment of its First Thursday in Downtown initiative.
The eateries, shops and other merchants in Boise’s downtown will be taking part in the program, which is intended to draw attention to the district and what it has on offer. It will run for four hours, and each participating business will be taking part in its own way.
The public that drops by the neighbourhood to do some browsing and buying will be able to visit a variety of establishments, and there will be lots of “extras” to enjoy. Some will be distributing food and drink samples or exhibits by local artists, and there will be fun for the kids as well. Live music has been planned, and trunk shows and other sales will be there order the day. All ages are welcome.
There is often power in numbers, and an event that includes a variety of local businesses can be counted on to attract lots of attention. The establishments that take part can order small Promotional Products to hand out to the members of the public that stop by, and these may be printed with a coupon or other premium.
The Downtown Boise Association will be rolling out the red carpet for its First Thursday celebration on March 6th. Everyone is invited to join the fun.
