Boise conference to focus on river health

Residents who are concerned about the health of the Boise River may wish to save room in their September plans for an event that will focus on this topic.

During the 2018 Partners for Clean Water Conference, delegates will have a chance to learn more about the river and the steps they can take tenure it will be healthy and enjoyed by both future generations and the wildlife that calls it home. An assortment of presenters will be addressing the crowd, and a field component has also been included in the agenda.

A variety of topics are on the schedule for discussion, and these range from the impact water renewal improvements are having on the river, to trends related to stormwater monitoring. To help make the event as informative as possible, anyone who plans on attending is welcome to submit any questions they may have about the topic at hand to the organizers to help them plan the topics on the slate for discussion.

The general admission fee for this daylong conference has been set at $75 each. Local Print shops can supply a variety of materials – including handouts, Presentation Folders, and branded swag – for an occasion such as this.

The 2018 Partners for Cleanwater Stormwater Conference will be offered to the public on September 12. Boise’s Barber Park Education and Event Center will be the venue for the event.
