Like other venues of its kind, the Idaho Botanical Garden serves as a reservoir for biodiversity and also protects rare species, and it has a special event in the works for this September.
The venue has scheduled a farm-to-table dinner that will offer an upscale atmosphere, and while they enjoy the celebration, guests will be helping to fund the garden. It will mark its 40th year, and the agenda for the soiree offers an assortment of activities.
Attendees will be treated to a selection of farm-sourced fare, and an assortment of craft cocktails and other beverages will be poured. In keeping with the French theme of the occasion, tableaux vivants, or “living pictures,” will be displayed, and these will be dramatic depictions that utilize actors in costume. An auction and mystery box drawing have also been planned.
To help involve the local corporate community, a sponsorship program has been prepared. Boise businesses can choose from several packages, and they may also work with the organizers to create a custom sponsorship package. One option planners often present is to donate Corporate Gifts, and these may be used as auction items or draw prizes.
The Idaho Botanical Garden will be welcoming ticketholders for its Farm to Tableaux fundraiser on Thursday, September 12. It will open at 6:00 pm that evening.
