Artists from Idaho are invited to submit a piece of their creative efforts to the Boise Art Museum (BAM) to be a part of next year’s Idaho Triennial.
The exhibition, held
once every three years, features juried art from across the state. The objective of the show is to give the public an opportunity to see the quality of the work being produced by artists who call Idaho home. It is open to any artist who wishes to participate.
For a submission to be accepted, it must have been created at some point in the past three years. It needs to be original and it cannot have previously been on exhibit at the Boise Art Museum. Works using any media are eligible.
The BAM will show all selected pieces in an exhibit that will run from February 18th until July 16th 2017. To help the public get the most from the show, the plan is to produce cell phone audio guides so that people can use their phones to learn more about the works and the artists who created them. The BAM also plans on creating a publication which documents the exhibition. Items such as this can be produced by a brochure printing company.
Anyone who is interested in submitting one of their artistic creations must do so by no later than August 1st 2016. An application and further details can be found on the BAM website.
