Annual Boise neuroscience symposium scheduled

The 7th annual Boise Neuroscience Conference will soon be bringing healthcare professionals and therapists from throughout the state together in one place to both learn about the latest advances in the field, and also discuss issues that they face. It will be a full day of learning and collaborating, and registration is free.

During the symposium, several experts in the field of neurology and neurological conditions will offer lectures and other presentations on an assortment of topics, and the focus will be on illnesses like Parkinson's disease, pituitary tumors, seizures, and cryptogenic stroke. The practices discussed will be evidence based, and will find practical application in many healthcare settings.

Both breakfast and lunch will be provided to the delegates at the conference, and a vendor exhibition has also been planned. Any attendees who have an artistic bent are invited to submit a poster design that addresses a topic related to the field of neurology. This can be a great way to design materials that can educate the public, and the winners of a competition like this can have their designs reproduced on a large scale by a poster printing company.

Boise’s Anderson Center has been selected to host this opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn and network, and it will be held on April 19. Those who have any questions can direct them to sleeb@slhs.org.
