Sounds of the South to hit Macon

The inaugural South of Atlanta Fest will take place in Macon this April. It is being hosted by country musician Brent Cobb and organized by Moonhanger Presents.

Festivities will begin at Macon’s Big House Museum, the former residence of the Allman Brothers Band. These festivities will feature the "BBQ Band" Day Party on the outside stage. The festival will then continue at the historic Capitol Theatre, where a lineup of talented musicians will perform.

On Saturday, April 12, Ben Chapman and Silverada will perform, and on Sunday, April 13th, Brent Cobb will headline alongside The Band Loula.

Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased at the Rookery or via See Tickets. General admission for both days starts at $65, with front balcony access priced at $85. Single-day general admission tickets for Saturday or Sunday are available for $35, while front balcony seats are priced at $45. Opera Box seating is offered at $440 for Friday and Saturday.

The fest will be at the Big House Museum, 2321 Vineville Ave, Macon, as well as the Capitol Theatre, 382 2nd Street, Macon. The dates and times will be April 12 to 13 from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm each day.
