Over 100 new jobs available at Macon's regional airport

The Macon-Bibb Industrial Authority is looking to fill 115 job openings at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport.

In the upcoming months, the company will be accepting applicants from many different backgrounds; anyone interested in a career change is encouraged to send in their resumé. People who work outside of the aerospace industry have a chance of being interviewed too.

Not long ago, the Texas aircraft-painting company, Dean Baldwin Painting, relocated to a building in central Georgia. It has already laid the foundations for a state-of-the-art aircraft strip and paint facility next to the airport in Macon.

Another press release has announced that the company is spending $20m to pave the way for a 127,000 square foot building. CEO Barbara Baldwin argued that this project would allow the company to hire more people, regardless of whether they have a tech degree or graduated from college.

On top of that, the Macon Airport will be renovated, which means more developments similar to the installment of four-bay hangars by Stevens Aerospace and Defence Systems in November 2017. This is an extension of past efforts, where Contour Airlines and Embraer introduced new flights and airplane repairs to the area, offering another 100 jobs.

Construction is determined to start in December but no specific date was confirmed for when applications will open. Poster printing is a solid medium for presenting construction blueprints and other architectural dimensions in cases like this.
