Macon workshop to help chiropractors hone skills

Next month, Fetterman Events will present the Extremity Adjusting: Hands to Feet Workshop to help Macon chiropractors deepen their knowledge and earn continuing education (CE) hours.

Fetterman Events provides continuing education seminars for chiropractic professionals with and without a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). The organization was founded by Kris Fetterman, former Program Director for the Michigan Chiropractic Society, who saw a need for a better approach to creating and delivering educational seminars and workshops for chiropractic practitioners.

The Hands to Feet Workshop will teach attendees a more effective way to manually adjust the hand and feet of patients without causing discomfort. The class will go over a simple, step-by-step process of adjusting the tarsals, carpals, and other extremity joints. Participants will gain the skills to enable them to accurately assess and treat conditions of the shoulder, hand, wrist, ankle, and feet. The methodology learned at the workshop will help practitioners improve their management of extremity conditions. The class is worth 12 CE hours, which are approved in both Georgia and Alabama.

Professional workshops like this often facilitate networking amongst participants, which may encourage attendees to bring along a supply of Business Cards.

The workshop is scheduled for August 20 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The location is to be announced. Registration is free for Doctor Program members, $279 for non-member DCs, and $209 for non-DCs.
