Macon workshop to explore entrepreneurship for tech employees

Next month, Coachieve will host the virtual Entrepreneurship for Tech Employees and Engineers workshop for workers in Macon interested in building their own business.

Coachieve was founded by Joey Fehrman, a business coach and entrepreneur, to help aspiring entrepreneurs develop their dream business plan and put it into action. His educational background is in computer science with a degree from Penn State University, and he has gained valuable experience from working at Microsoft. Utilizing this knowledge and experience, Fehrman will coach aspiring entrepreneurs to “escape the rat race” and become their own boss.

During the webinar, attendees will learn tips on how to pick an effective business idea and learn about eight essentials any business plan should have. Fehrman will also delve into how to start a business while still working a full-time job, and how to make that business profitable within eight weeks. The workshop will also discuss both the strengths and weaknesses of having a technical and engineering background as an entrepreneur.

Even online events like this can benefit from more traditional methods of advertising, such as printing out informative material using local flyer printing services and distributing those Flyers around town.

The entrepreneurship webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1 from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm EDT. Attendees will need to register on Eventbrite to receive an email with the link to join.
