Macon Valentines dance to celebrate father-daughter bond

This February, the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences will host the 26th Annual Father & Daughter Dance to provide a special night for fathers and their daughters.

The Museum of Arts and Sciences is a 50,000 square-foot facility on a 14-acre campus that operates on a community-led basis to celebrate the intersection of the arts and sciences by providing hands-on activities and exhibitions to stimulate curiosity and promote lifelong learning. The museum frequently hosts after-hour special events as well, such as the father-daughter dance happening for Valentine’s Day.

The dance will feature music curated by DJ and radio host Laura Starling from WDEN Early Morning Crew. There will be light hors d’oeuvres and drinks provided as refreshments, and attendees will have an opportunity to capture their memories in picture form at the photo booth by TakeMyPictureDon. Guests will enjoy fun arts and crafts that fathers and daughters can make together. A variety of door prizes and raffled items, such as Promotional Products from sponsors, will also be available to win.

The Valentine’s dance is scheduled for Friday, February 10 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Museum of Arts and Sciences is located at 4182 Forsyth Road, Macon. Member price for one father and one daughter is $30, and non-member price is $40. Each additional daughter is $5.
