Macon historical house to bring Christmas cheer

The historic Johnston-Felton-Hay House will host a special Santa Day event for Macon families to enjoy a little Christmas magic in a safe, socially distanced manner.

Built in 1855, the Hay House was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974, becoming a property of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. Constructed in the Italian Renaissance Revival style, the house was an architectural marvel of the mid-19th Century, its technological amenities far ahead of other houses of that time period. The house now serves as a museum that is open to the public and frequently hosts community events.

The Santa Day event will feature a contactless meet-and-greet with Santa Claus for the children, including an opportunity to take professional photos against the backdrop of the elegantly decorated historic house. Event registration includes one 4?x6? professional Print and a special Christmas goody bag for the children.

Museum events often utilize brochure printing to create informative Brochures about the venue and event specifics.

Santa Day at the Hay House is slated for December 5, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Hay House can be found on 934 Georgia Ave. General admission is $45, which includes one child and two adults. Each appointment slot will last 15 minutes and accommodates two families. Organizers encourage making appointments in advance on the website due to limited appointments.
