Annual musical event returns to Macon

The Bragg Jam Concert Crawl has been taking place in Macon for the past 21 years, and this year the event will take place the last weekend of July.

Bragg Jam was created by local artists who were mourning the loss of a member of the musical community, Brax Bragg and his brother Tate. Each year in memory of the brothers, the organizers of the event give back to community causes that meant a lot to the Braggs. To date, the all-volunteer board members have donated over $200,000 to those causes.

Billed as a music lover’s dream, organizers of such events often work with Print shops for printing services to create Flyers and Brochures depicting the time and location of those performing. The performers are a mixture of local artists and well known nationwide headliners.

The weekend-long festival will feature over 60 musical acts during the course of the two days. The stages are located in multiple places in Downtown Macon, including stages, coffee shops, and theaters.

The weekend begins with Friday night’s opening acts and culminates into the long anticipated annual Concert Crawl which will be on Saturday.

Tickets can be purchased on line in advance or at the door. Those wishing to attend can purchase tickets for one day only (Friday, July 26 or Saturday, July 27) or a ticket which will grant admission on both days.
