St. Petersburg treated to reggae festival

One of Florida's biggest reggae festivals, Reggae Rise Up, Florida, will be returning to St. Petersburg in mid-March.

Over 15,000 fans are expected to attend each of the four days to view large-scale art installations, participate in interactive activities and peruse items offered by more than 100 food vendors and crafters.

Multiple stages, set beside Tampa Bay, will have headliners such Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, Rebelution, 311, SOJA and Cypress Hill. More than 15 additional major acts will include Common Kings, Steel Pulse, Yelawolf, Ballyhoo! and Roots of Creation.

Reggae bands often go to Print shops early in their careers and have the shops create a Logo Design and/or group's graphic design that is then applied to fan merchandise.

The venue offers a large lawn space for visitors to enjoy each other's company and just relax.

General and VIP tickets may be purchased for either one day, two days, three days or all four days. Tickets for Sky Deck VIP tables, and Lounge VIP tables are also available for purchase. Those interested in attending need to purchase their tickets as soon as possible because very few tickets are still available at time of writing.

This year's Reggae Rise Up Florida will take place in Vinoy Park, 701 Bayshore Drive, NE, March 12th through the 15th. Gates will open at 4:00 pm on Thursday and noon on all other dates.
