The 51st Annual Mainsail Art Festival will take place here in St. Petersburg in late March.
Over 100,000 guests are expected to attend and purchase high-end art from over 250 juried craft and fine art exhibitors. Genres will include wood, watercolor, sculpture, photography, oil/acrylic, mixed media, metal, jewelry, graphics, glass fibers, digital art and ceramics. Many artists will be giving demonstrations of their skills in mixed media, sculpture, painting and ceramics.
This show will be juried with cash awards totaling $60,000 and Best in Show will receive $10,000. A Young at ARt Student Show will also hand out awards.
An art valet service will be available to hold and transport art after it has been purchased.
Kids are invited to use their creativity in the Kids Create art tent. There will also be live music at the Performing Arts stage where guest may bring their own chairs or use the ones provided under the tents in front of the stage. A culinary arts food court and Mainsail Beer Garden will have snacks and refreshments available for purchase.
The festival will have a merchandise booth where Promotional Products such as Posters, Apparel, Drinkware, headward and Totes will be available for purchase.
Admission will be free.
The 51st Annual Mainsail Art Festival will take place from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm March 28th, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on March 29th at the waterfront at Vinoy Park, 701 Bayshore Drive NE.
