Palm Beach Gardens to offer springtime bee experience

The PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens is holding an interactive program with bees throughout April and May.

The Bee Experience is a special program where people can learn about the beekeeping practices used by the PGA National Resort and its sustainability programs. The session is led by Sierra Malnove, a professional beekeeper who will teach guests how to keep these buzzing pollinators safe, happy, and productive. Each guest receives a full-body beekeeping suit to wear when visiting the hives. Attendees also get to try raw honeycomb during the program.

People who want to add to the Bee Experience can pay to attend the Honeybelle Beekeepers Lunch. The meal features dishes that use honey produced by the facility’s hives. Attendees receive a welcome mocktail and a PGA Honeycomb & Cheese appetizer, which comes with almonds, dried fruit, and grilled bread. The second course will include a PGA Hot Honey Pizza and Caesar salad. Guests can enjoy a blonde brownie with ice cream and a honey drizzle for dessert.

The Bee Experience began on April 9 and is available every day until May 31 at the PGA National Resort, with guests asked to call 561.627.2000 to make a booking. The cost to attend the program is $75 for adults and $35 for children. Those who want to purchase the lunch add-on can pay $55 per person. Resorts that offer seasonal programs like this can use poster printing services to make ads that share details with their guests.
