The library here in Palm Beach Gardens will have a special guest speaker in July who will teach people how to understand emotions.
Beyond Emotions: A Self-Help Guide to Understanding Emotions Without Being Overwhelmed is a one-day course where people can learn how to handle themselves during times of major life changes. The session will help attendees discover ways of grounding themselves and improve their self-trust when dealing with stressful situations in their lives. The lesson will teach attendees through simple mind-body practices and personal storytelling.
The instructor for the emotions workshop will be Sophie Malahieude, the author of Beyond Emotions. Malahieude is an emotional balance coach who is also a certified life coach, yoga instructor, and Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant. She hosts many events, such as the Women Who Write presentation at the Women’s Chamber of Commerce Author Event. Malahieude even holds weekly online meetups like the Morning Reset, an event that helps attendees reconnect with their bodies.
The workshop on handling emotions will be held on Friday, July 10th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Registration for the program will open to patrons on Friday, June 26th. The presentation will be held in the meeting room at the Gardens Branch library. Organizations that host workshops at libraries like this may use poster printing services to share their author presentations with more consumers.
