This October, Florida Bench & Bar Conference, Judicial Reception, & SuperStars in Trial will be held in Key Biscayne/Miami area for any law professionals interested in learning from some of the most experienced trial lawyers and judges in the area.
The event will be presented by St. Thomas University College of Law, located in Miami Gardens. It will take place in Key Biscayne, a quaint village on a scenic barrier island just across the causeway from mainland Miami. It is considered Florida’s largest bench and bar conference, and attendees can earn up to 17 (continuing legal education) CLE credits.
Over 70 prominent and experienced judges and trail lawyers will present at the conference, exhibiting demonstrations on opening and closing arguments, direct and cross examinations, and jury selection. Attendees will hear from an actual jury about what methods and techniques are most effective. There will also be courses taught by state and federal judges on discovery methods, corporate law, business litigation, and other topics.
