Jacksonville to celebrate Labor Day with tacos and tequila

Downtown Jacksonville will be going Mexican with its 2023 Jacksonville Taco & Tequila Festival for two days over Labor Day weekend.

More than 40 culinary teams, restaurants, and food trucks from across the city will be selling Mexican street fare, especially tacos. Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available. Most food items will be priced between $5 and $15, and drinks such as seltzers, beers and margaritas will be available from $7 to $15. Free water will be offered at stations located around the venue.
Nationally acclaimed performers and musicians will provide the entertainment.

Proceeds from the festival will go to local Jacksonville charitable organizations like Make a Wish Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs Chemo Noir, and the Wagoner Foundation.

General admission tickets are $50 for the Saturday and $80 for the Sunday. These will include one drink ticket, festival grounds wristbands, entrance to the Waterfront Makers & Distillery Village, and access to the two stages.

The $150 Grand Sampling Experience will include wristbands for two days, meeting the distillers, and sampling more than 50 tequilas, margaritas, and craft cocktails. Each ticketholder will receive a sampling crystal glass engraved with the event’s Logo Design.

Golden Agave Club + VIP Lounge tickets will be available for $300 for Saturday and $500 for Sunday.

The festival will take place September 2 and 3 at Metropolitan Park along the waterfront in Downtown Jacksonville.
