Jacksonville enjoys tradition for 250th celebration

The 19th Fourth of July Throwback Baseball game will take place in the morning, and The Jacksonville Naval Museum will be marking the nation's 250th anniversary in the evening.

The 19th Fourth of July Throwback Baseball game will have teams and umpires wearing turn-of-the-century uniforms and using period equipment.

The game will be free and tailgating and picnicking are encouraged.

Vendors that sell merchandise at events like this often have it printed with the date and event name at local Print shops.

Pregame activities will begin at 10:00 am and the first pitch will be thrown at 11:00 am.

The fourth of July Throwback Baseball game will take place at the Henry J. Klutho Park.

DJ Rantz will be spinning celebratory and patriotic tunes from 6:30 m to 10:00 pm at the USS Orleck Naval Museum and hot dogs and sandwiches will be available for purchase.

Admission for those 16 and over will be $12 and will include one free drink.

The event will take place on the pier. Guests are allowed to bring folding chairs, and a place will be reserved for chairs at the end of the pier for good views of the 6:30 pm fireworks.

The 4th of July 2026 Aboard the USS Orleck Naval Museum American's 250th Celebration will take place July 4th from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the USS Orleck Naval Museum, 610 E Bay Street.
