Hialeah residents who are job hunting should consider attending an upcoming event.
DiversityX develops job fairs that connect potential employees directly with employers who are inclusion-friendly and value diversity in their workforce. Attendees have the opportunity to interview with more than 40 companies in three hours, all for free.
The event is open to everyone, whether they are actively seeking employment or are merely curious about a company. Joining in the job fair will allow people to speak with hiring managers directly, and receive feedback about their resumés immediately. In some cases, people are hired that day.
The job fair is being held virtually using text/chat, audio, and video. Those who wish to attend first register, which is free. Then, approximately five days before the fair, organizers will send an email to the registered participants, listing the companies that are taking part, and what jobs they have available. Hopeful candidates can decide who they would like to speak to, and schedule a meeting before the fair begins. They can use their phone without downloading an app. The fair is focusing on companies in a specific geographical area, and both work-from-home and in-person jobs are listed.
Dozens of industries are taking part including video games, retail, real estate, financial services, information technology, and air transportation.
The fair is scheduled for March 2, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Organizers of virtual events can use Logo Design to make sure their company name is seen by participants.
