The 8th annual Women of Distinction and Caring Luncheon is taking place next month, presented by the Plaza Health Network. Proceeds will help fund patient-focused services at the Network.
The event will be emceed by Diana Gonzalez, Director of Communications at the City of Miami. A reception (complete with champagne) will start things off, followed by a silent auction which offers a range of prizes, including a stay in Jamaica. There will also be shopping opportunities at Sunburst Society boutiques and the Kendra Scott Wall of Treasures.
Seven women who have made a significant contribution to the South Florida Community will be honored at this year’s luncheon. A video will be shown before each woman is introduced to the audience. Among the honorees for this year are Dr. Grace Wang of the Miami Cancer Institute, Terry Buoniconti from the Miami Project, and Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.
This luncheon will likely attract guests from all over South Florida, including nearby Hialeah. To help advertise events like this, local Print companies are often asked to provide printed Invitations or Postcards.
The Women of Distinction and Caring Luncheon will be held at the Hilton Miami Downtown on November 16 from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Tickets are $150 each, and sponsorships that include tickets are available for $250, $500 and $1,000. Visit the Eventbrite page to purchase tickets.
