A challenging race is on the schedule in Hialeah.
Terrain Race organizes mainly 5K events with a great many challenges built in. These include monkey bars, ropes, walls, mud, water, and approximately 20 other obstacles, which change depending on the location of the race. Participants have their choice of a 5K or a 10K event, and everyone who takes part will be given a race T-shirt, race bib, finisher’s medal, and course access.
After the race is finished, there are further activities planned. Participants are welcome to visit the festival area where they will find the race sponsors, most of them with merchandise to give away. There will also be food vendors on hand so hungry race participants can refuel, and live music is also planned. Some additional competitions might also be on the agenda, where people can win free merchandise, or perhaps another race, this one to be run for free.
Organizers suggest that anyone who wants to join should bring a heavy-duty towel, clothes to change into after the run, and running shoes they will not mind destroying. Organizers of events like this can use banner printing to create signage that marks the course.
The race is set for Saturday, March 11 at Amelia Earhart Park, with check-in at 6:00 am. The race starts at 8:00 am. The park is on East 65th Street in Hialeah.
