An organization that helps children find strategies to care for their mental health needs is having a party.
The Spark of Knowledge Gala will bring fun vibes to Hialeah and will also help raise funds for the Kids N Touch Academy. The gala is one of the summer’s biggest events, with an open premium bar, food, and live music, courtesy of DJ Lucky C from local radio station 99 Jamz. Also on hand is Trixx the Comedian.
The event is usually popular, so anyone interested should get tickets as soon as possible. A portion of each ticket sold helps support the After the Bell Program at Kids N Touch Academy, which raises most of their money at this annual event. Attendance at important events like this can be increased when organizers use poster printing to create exciting advertising for the evening.
Kids N Touch Academy gives students equal access to referrals to mental health professionals and supportive counselors after hours. The program also gives students opportunities to engage in hands-on activities that will help them build a number of strategies to them and their families to support their mental health. The Academy notes that a person’s childhood experiences have a great impact on who they are as adults.
The Gala is scheduled for July 23 at 7:00 pm. The venue is the Milander Center for Arts and Entertainment at 4800 Palm Avenue in Hialeah.
