A performance is coming up soon in Hialeah, courtesy of young musicians who have been rehearsing diligently.
The Wynwood School of Music is presenting its “Spring Rock N’ Roll Showcase,” featuring students who have been rehearsing throughout the semester. The bands that will be performing include Purple Dinosaurs, Not Yet Published, No Sense, Moonshoot, Avalanche, Arrowhead, and more.
Wynwood School of Music is located in Miami’s’ art district, and is a weekend and after-school program. The school is led by professional musicians and educators Zach Larmer and Sammy Gonzalez. The two artists built their reputation in the musical education community through their work with Young Musicians Unite.
The organization, which is a non-profit, provides free music education to students in public schools, and Larmer and Gonzales worked with more than 2,400 students. However, they wanted to do more because they realized there was still an additional need for individual, private instructions. They founded the Wynwood School of Music in 2019 for this purpose.
The concert is on May 21, from 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm. The doors open at 3:00 pm and the venue is a private location at 1085 West 21st Place in Hialeah. Tickets are $20 each. When events like this are planned, organizers can use brochure printing to create programs that include information about the performers, as well as the music to be played.
