Party celebrates bites and brews in Hialeah

A brand-new party is coming to Hialeah, featuring food, brews, and fun.

The inaugural Flamingo BrewFest will celebrate the best local brews, great food, and live music. The Garden of the Arts on West 76th Street will be the location for what promises to be a great party.

The breweries that are taking part are J. Wakefield Brewing, the South Beach Brewing Company Taproom & Restaurant, Cerveceria La Tropical, ALZA Tequilla Soda, Magic 13 Brewing, Dancing Calavera Brewing Company, Bay 13 Brewing, Yeasty Brews Artisanal Beers, MIA Beer, Prison Pals, La Rubia, and No Seasons. A quick look at some of the brewers reveals that those attending the festival will have a choice of hefeweizen, pilsner, various types of IPAs, ales, and other varieties of beers. There will be something for everyone to sample.

Food trucks from the local area will also be on hand, offering their treats for sale, and live music is planned, though the lineup is not finalized yet.

There are two types of tickets available. The Premium Ticket entitles the purchaser to enter one hour early, and they will receive unlimited beer tastings as well as a sampling cup. Food is sold separately. General Admission tickets include unlimited beer tastings.

The Flamingo BrewFest is scheduled for October 12, from 1.00 pm until 6.00 pm. The event is limited to those 21 years of age and older. When events like this take place, attendees will often pick up Business Cards from the participating vendors.
