October to get off to traditional Germanic start

The 3rd annual Octoberfest Miami is coming up fast, and is hosted by Vitamin C.

As with all Octoberfest celebrations throughout the world, the event will celebrate all things German, especially food and beer, but there will also be snow cones and popcorn. There is set to be live music from artists such as the La Linea Band, as well as DJ performances from Vertigo, Zog, and two other local DJs. Visitors can enjoy carnival rides like the Ferris wheel, throw a ball at a dunk tank, and ride a zip line.

Tickets are available for both VIP and general admission. The cost of VIP tickets includes a 16oz souvenir mug, two beer fills, a hat, a $5 food voucher, early check-in, and access to a private lounge.

It is likely that people will want to come to the festival from all over, including from nearby Hialeah. Organizers might invest in flyer printing services to help inform the surrounding community about the upcoming event.

Octoberfest Miami will be held at Marlins Park this Saturday, October 4, from 3:00 - 11:00 PM. Tickets are $36 for general admission, which includes one free beer and $72 for VIP; the event is only open to those aged 21 and over. Call 305-375-0179 to get the latest information about the festival.
