Spring is on the way and Hialeah is celebrating with an event that should be fun for everyone.
The City of Hialeah is presenting its Eggstravaganza, an Easter egg hunt that has become famous as one of the largest anywhere in South Florida, with organizers hiding more than 50,000 eggs in Milander Park, the site of the hunt. People of all ages will be at the park to have fun and celebrate spring and its sunny weather.
However, the Eggstravaganza is far more than a simple hunt for eggs. Live entertainment will be available all afternoon and includes performances by talented young artists from local dance academies and schools. Interactive inflatables and rides will be available to children all day, and there will be a chance to have a photo taken with the Easter Bunny. In addition, people will be able to purchase food and beverages from a wide selection.
Milander Park covers approximately 19 acres and has numerous amenities that provide hiding places for Easter eggs. When organizers plan events like this, they can work with banner printing companies to create seasonal decorations for the venue.
There are various levels of admission available. The egg hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny are both available for $6, while rides are $15. A wristband with access to all attractions will be on offer for $20.
The 2025 Eggstravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm, and as many as 33,000 people are expected to attend.
