The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is holding its annual Gala in the Garden this February in what it bills as its most important fundraiser of the year.
Dress for the gala is black tie. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing to the Soul Survivors. There will also be a silent auction. Proceeds from this event go to support conservation, science education, horticultural research, and community outreach.
Those who plan to go to the gala who wish to arrive early can experience the exhibition ‘Chihuly at Fairchild: A Glass Garden’ while they look forward to the evening. Glass sculptures by renowned sculptor Dale Chihuly are scattered around the grounds. This exhibition will be at the Botanic Garden until May 31.
Visitors from all over, including nearby Hialeah, may wish to experience either of these events. Word may be spread by local Print company products such as Flyers which are distributed throughout the area.
