There are tennis programs throughout the year for adults of all ages with varying abilities, and also for children so that they can learn the sport and engage in events that are free for the entire family.

During this month, tennis will be part of the afterschool program at Henderson and Armbrister parks, offered by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Miami. This program was made possible by a grant for the equipment from the USTA Florida Section Foundation and a partnership with USTA Florida.

One of the events is an afternoon on the tennis courts at Goodlet Tennis Center in Hialeah. The many games and activities that will be offered are free of charge. The date for this event is Saturday September 26 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
