A fun event is coming up in Hialeah.
Once called “tennis shoes” and worn by every school kid everywhere, sneakers are now a billion-dollar business. Hialeah is the site of the upcoming Sneaker Swap x Kick Squad Fest, A Collab Sneaker Event. Visitors to the swap will be able to trade, purchase, or sell sneakers, both new and used. They will also be able to check out hype clothing, vintage clothing, and even artworks. Thousands of sneaker enthusiasts from across the world are expected to attend what is considered the ultimate event for collectors, fashionistas, and enthusiasts of these iconic shoes.
More than 100 vendors will be on hand with their best art, clothing, and shoes. They will have vintage pairs that are difficult to find, limited editions, and collaborations from popular brands. There will also be an opportunity for people to trade or sell their own collections.
Meet-and-greet sessions with industry insiders, Q&A sessions, panel discussions, and special guests are also scheduled, giving collectors a chance to speak with experts and get a look at the latest styles and trends.
In addition, a sneaker authentication booth is planned, so buyers can have their purchases authenticated.
The Sneaker Swap will take place at The Yards at Amelia, 7551 West 4th Avenue in Hialeah, on Sunday, June 8. Events like this often benefit when organizers use flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, listing the vendors.
