Hialeah ready to tee up

The City of Hialeah will host the annual golf tournament at the Shula’s Golf Club to get this weekend underway. Proceeds benefit the City of Hialeah Parks and Recreation Youth Programs.

The golf tournament is a foursome event at a fee of $700, which includes a goody bag, buffet dinner and snacks. The team will compete for the best single score for the 18-hole tournament.

Among those receiving benefits from this event include the aquatics program, EIP Youth and Internship program, cultural arts program, and recreational youth and sports league.

The City of Hialeah services over 200,000 residents within a 20-square-mile radius and is one of the largest municipalities in the state. It has been dubbed ‘The City of Progress’ as a result of the full service program offering affordable services for all within the community.

Poster printing is typically a component of marketing an event like this golf tournament. The Posters are created at a local Print shop and include pertinent details in a vibrant setting to attract attention. They are then placed in strategic areas for the purpose of enhancing participation.

The City of Hialeah Annual Golf Tournament will take place tomorrow, April 26, running from noon until 3:00 pm. Registration is available via the event website. For questions or more information, contact the Communications and Special Events Office at 305-889-5701.
