There are two events taking place this Independence Day in Hialeah that will attract many local families.
The day will start off with an Independence Day Pool Party at the Milander Aquatic Center, at which guests will enjoy free use of the Olympic-sized swimming pool. There will also be musical entertainment and food available for purchase.
Later on in the day is the official Independence Day Celebration at Ted Hendricks Stadium. It is presented by the City of Hialeah and Leon Medical Centers. Guests are invited to attend a special pre-party at 4:00 pm outside the stadium gates.
Once inside, there will be musical entertainment from Jencarlos Canela, DJ Nancy Starr, and DJ Noiz. There will be a kids’ zone with games, rides and a variety of hands-on activities. In addition, several local businesses will be hosting booths and handing out freebies to those who stop by.
The evening will finish off with a fireworks and laser show.
