Hialeah turns 100 this year and is marking the occasion with something everyone loves, a chance to enjoy delicious food.
The Hialeah Food & Wine Festival is sponsored by the city and will take place in Hialeah Park. Organizers promise a night of culture, indulgence, and great entertainment that will begin the year-long celebration of Hialeah’s history, development, and vibrant culinary establishment.
More than 50 vendors from the city’s best restaurants will be bringing their finest gourmet fare for foodies to savor. The dishes will be paired with craft beverages and premium wines to enhance their flavors.
Entertainment will be provided by American Gipsy, a tribute band for the legendary Gipsy Kings. American Gipsy will provide the flamenco beats that create the rhythm and tone for the event, in the style of the original band.
The Gipsy Kings were founded in 1979, and although they came together in Arles, France, the band members are of Catalan heritage. They usually perform in Spanish, playing a mix of pop, salsa, flamenco, and Catalan rumba, but also sing in French, Catalan, and other languages common in southern France.
The festival is scheduled for February 8, from 6.00 pm until 10.00 pm. The park is at 2200 East 4th Avenue. The event is limited to those 21 years of age and older. Organizers of huge events like this can turn to professional printers who will use poster printing to create colorful and compelling advertising for the event.
