The 2021 5K/10K Cross Country Run, hosted and organized by down2earth, has been scheduled in Hialeah this summer.
The race will take place at Amelia Earhart Park. The park will open at 6:00 am. Participants should enter the main entrance at the park and go to the west side where the Wake Boarding Rental Building is located. An arrow sign for the race will be posted.
Registration and packet pick up will be open from 6:00 am to 7:00 am. At 7:15, all racers should plan to attend a race briefing prior to lining up for the start. The race will begin promptly at 7:30 am.
The race course will take runners and walkers around the lake and through the park. The route is comprised of grass, asphalt, and a dirt road. The 5K runners will run one loop. The 10K runners will use the same course and run two loops.
