A local college campus will be open for tours soon.
The Hialeah Campus of Miami Dade College suggests that high school personnel, high school students along with their parents, and people interested in career advancement or starting new careers should consider attending this open day. Post-traditional students are also invited – this group includes adult learners and people who are going to school on a part-time basis while they work full-time.
Attendees at the open house will have a chance to examine the bachelor, associate, and certificate programs offered, and learn how they can train to qualify for positions in fields such as web development, computers, technology, paralegal studies, tourism, hospitality, healthcare, engineering, and more.
Staff members, faculty, and students from the college will be on hand to answer questions, giving visitors a change to learn about student activities and organizations. Virtual sessions on admissions, scholarships, and financial aid will be available. Food, games, and giveaways are also planned.
Miami Dade College has a diverse study body, with 63 languages and 167 nations represented. The college has eight campuses and offers over 300 pathways to degrees including baccalaureate and associate degrees, as well as apprenticeships and career certificates.
The Hialeah Campus of Miami Dade College will be holding their open house on February 23, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, in Room 5101. When organizers plan events like this, they can use brochure printing to create pamphlets explaining the programs and opportunities available.
