Healthcare and employment event in Hialeah

Job seekers and people who need health care coverage should consider attending an upcoming event in Hialeah.

The SFLHCC Career and Open Enrollment Fair is a day that will allow people to explore job opportunities, and perhaps enroll in a healthcare program. The event is in-person, and will give people looking for jobs a chance to meet and talk to potential employers about available openings.

In addition, people who have no health coverage or might like to consider a different type of coverage will be able to learn about the programs that have open enrollment. They will also be able to talk to experts about their options and gather information to make an informed decision.

SFLHCC is the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which was founded almost 30 years ago. The SFLHCC has been named one of the nation’s top five Hispanic chambers, which offers its members a chance to network and meet potential business prospects. It also advocates for members who are small business owners, through its Small Business Committee.

The career and open enrollment event is scheduled for November 8, from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm, at the Miami-Dade College Hialeah Campus on West 49th Street. At a dual-purpose event like this, organizers might encourage businesses to use flyer printing to create handouts about their organizations, while insurers could use brochure printing to create informative pamphlets.
