Graphics under the spotlight at long-running show

The 40th annual Graphics of the Americas Expo and Convention is coming to the Miami Beach area for three days at the end of the month.

This is a premier show for those in the graphics and printing industries. There will be over 50 seminars (22 of which are in Spanish), along with product demonstrations and speakers.

Those confirmed to speak at this year's convention include Steve Ballinger, Chad Chelius, and Julie Shaffer. Those who take seminars can choose between several tracks including pre-press production, sales and marketing, and management. Guests can view presentations in the wide format Print shop and the American Graphics Institute Live areas.

The expo will feature professionals in printing, graphic design, printer manufacturers, and many other related businesses as they preview and demonstrate the latest in products and techniques. Also taking place during the event is the Wrap Cup Americas, which offers $150,000 in prizes.

Printing company and other professionals will come to the show from all over the world, no doubt including some from nearby communities like Hialeah.
