Fun is brewing in Hialeah

An event in Hialeah is made for people who appreciate craft beers.

IPA-LOOZA is billed as a Miniature Indoor IPA Festival, as it does indeed feature IPAs. It will take place indoors, so that attendees will be able to enjoy sampling the various brews in an air-conditioned environment, away from the Florida heat.

The event brings together breweries from throughout South Florida, so fans of craft brews will be able to taste the IPAs from different companies, which can be very different and will be enjoyable for people who truly appreciate craft brewing. The various beers will offer different aromas hop profiles, and the brewers are likely to have used different techniques to create their products.

In addition, the organizers of the festival have invited a number of food vendors to participate, giving people a chance to enjoy nibbles that will pair perfectly with the beer being served.

IPA is short for India pale ale, and describes a type of beer. Pale ale is brewed with pale malt, which results in a lighter colored brew. An India pale ale is a more “hoppy” brew.

IPA-LOOZA is scheduled for August 19, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm, at Unbranded Brewing Co., located at 1395 E 11th Avenue in Hialeah. Tickets are $30, which includes unlimited tastings. Organizers of events like this could use flyer printing to create handouts that list the participating brewers and the type of beer they produce.
