The Hialeah Spirit Fest is taking place next month for five days. It is a presentation of Maranatha Youth.
The festival is an almost week-long celebration that will feature a different activity for youth each night.
The first event will be the opportunity for guests to participate in arts and crafts making; they will be able to create whatever they want and all necessary tools will be supplied. The next night will be a drum circle at South Pointe Park, for which participants are welcome to bring their own drum.
The third night will be game night and will feature a variety of board and social games to play. Next will be Hotel California, in which several short scenes will be acted out in various hotel rooms and each will present a different message to teens.
The festival will finish off with a costume party and contest. Guests will also be treated to live music all night long.
