The Children's Trust Family Expo is taking place next month in the Hialeah area. This popular event attracts approximately 20,000 visitors each year.
For the kids, there will be clowns, stilt walkers, and popular cartoon characters, and they can entertain themselves with bounce houses, rock climbing, storytellers, and arts and crafts activities. Other activities include martial arts demonstrations, chess tournaments and games in the indoor sports zone. A book fair will be offering a wide variety of children's Books on display and for sale.
For parents, there will be urban gardening workshops, information from health and social service organizations, exhibits from representatives of after school programs and other special school programs, instructions on how to register children in Pre-Kindergarten, and displays from community groups that provide services for children and their families.
It will be a day filled with lots of fun for the kids, but the expo will also give area parents, including those from Hialeah, information to help them prepare for the upcoming school year.
