Conference aims to create excellent communities

The Florida Communities of Excellence Conference and Awards Gala is about to take place in Weston.

The event consists of two separate parts, and will start off with a reception and luncheon in which the keynote speaker is Julie Adamen. This event costs $85 for board members, residents, and managers, and $195 for vendors’ representatives.

After lunch, there will be vendors’ exhibit, a VIP reception for the finalists, and the Managers of Excellence Awards. The emcee for the awards ceremony will be Tom Hudson of WLRN Radio. There will also be a panel discussion on the topic of ‘Designing Florida's Newest Communities’.

The conference will likely attract government officials, local business leaders, and residents who wish to improve their communities. In order to make sure as many people are aware of this event as possible, organizers may invest in services such as flyer printing to spread the word to those who live in nearby communities such as Hialeah.

The Florida Communities of Excellence Conference and Awards Gala is taking place tomorrow, May 15, at the Bonaventure Resort Conference Center. The luncheon will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. The Awards gala will run from 1:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and tickets are $125 for vendors’ representatives but free for everyone else.
