Car show for a cause in Hialeah

An upcoming event will look to bring the sleekest cars around to Hialeah to raise money for a good cause.

The upcoming SFACS Car Show is the inaugural event organized for the benefit of the Friends of South Florida Autism, Inc. (FSFA). FSFA raises money to support organizations that serve those with severe autism. The organizations are The Villages of South Florida Autism, Inc., the South Florida Autism Center, Inc., and South Florida Autism Charter Schools.

Proceeds from this event will be used to finance the construction of a Community Outreach Building. The building will be a state-of-the-art facility that provides services such as professional development, community workshops, job opportunities, vocational training, adult programming, a fitness center for families, out-of-school services, a therapy clinic, and early intervention.

Furthermore, community support will not only allow experts to provide important services to families in South Florida, but will also provide a model that can be replicated elsewhere by those developing strategies for Autism intervention.

The show will include cool, aesthetically pleasing autos, and a chance to talk with other car enthusiasts. However, it’s not necessary for attendees to be “car nuts” in order to enjoy the event; all they need is the enthusiasm for a day in the sunshine.

The car show is scheduled for May 11, from 11.00 am until 4.00 pm, at 3751 West 108th Street in Hialeah. When events like this are planned, organizers will often work with poster printing to create suitable advertising for them.
