The longest-running festival of dance is returning to South Florida in late summer. With 25 years in the region, Hialeah residents can look forward to the International Ballet Festival of Miami (IBFM)this year.
The event features over 100 dancers from countries across the world, including Chile, Brazil, England, Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, USA and Switzerland. A youth segment of classical ballet takes place the first week, followed by adult performances showcasing the top dancers with various ballet companies.
In addition to the ballet performances, other activities are included, such as the annual art exhibition, film screenings, and book presentations.
Several different local venues will host segments of the festival. Those areas include the Adrienne Arsht Center, Fillmore, Manuel Airtime Theater, Miami Dade County Auditorium, Lincoln Road, and Bayfront Park Pavilion.
Brochure printing is a key element in promoting large artistic performances of this type. Full color Brochures can include high-resolution images of the performers and venues, as well as bits of history. The agenda can also be highlighted.
Two awards are granted each yearto honor legendary performers. The IBFM artistic director along with festival advisors serving on a special panel select the honorees.
